The boys and decided to carve pumpkins on Thursday. They were in to it for like 10 minutes, then I did the rest. Next year i am only getting one pumpkin. They were cute though, I am not as good as my dad when it comes to this, but it was fun!!
We did a C and an M for the boys. It kind of looks like M for moon though, so either way you want to look at it! The 3rd pumpkin that you can see behind the other ones is rotten, so we couldn't carve that. It is just decoration now! Now I hope they will wear their costumes...
Day #10 is songs that I listen to when I am sad, mad, hyped, and so on.
I love all music, and listening to anything in any one of these moods makes everything all better. I will just add a few songs that I like and can think of at this moment in time.

Mak is so cute. Today I told him it was time to take a nap. I left the room for a minute to get him a drink. He came into the kitchen after a while and told me to be quiet cause his dog was asleep. We went to watch his show and he had his dog wrapped in his blanket on the chair. Then a few minutes later he took the dog upstairs and told me he had to sleep on his bed and not the couch. If only Mak knew that is what he needed to do!
He was telling me to be quiet so his dog could take a nap. His dog is actually a bear...
I thought i would share some pictures and things in the spirit of Halloween. I am not sure if I believe in ghosts, and if there are any ghosts living in my house please keep yourself quiet. I don't want to know your there and I don't need to know your there.
I have had some creepy things happen to me when I worked at Cottage Glen, an assisted living center. A few background information pieces on Cottage Glen; there are 4 buildings and at night during the graveyard shift there is only 1 CNA to a building. The shift leader would go around and check on the other buildings periodically during the night. Each building has 12 rooms, kitchen and dining, TV, and commons area. Anyways, this story really gives me the chills is this. I was working graves in building 2, the lock down building, when some crazy things started happening. I would go into one room and come out to the commons area with over turned chairs or tables. I would no sooner flip them back over go into another room and come out and they would be over turned again. This kind of gets creepy since all the old crazy people are asleep and don't move that fast. Then as i was turning the furniture back over for the 3rd time, the garbage can flew across the room and hit the wall. As you can imagine my heart almost flew across the room as well. I called the shift leader over to come sit with me for a few so we could check things out and make sure nobody was really in there. Nobody has a key to this building except the CNA's on shift and the bosses. Well, she came over and we checked all the rooms. Nobody was in here except the residents and they were all in bed. I was starting to get a little nervous right about now. We sat down in front of the TV and started talking about all the stuff that goes on in these buildings at night. I know stupid right!! That's when we heard a loud BANG down the hall. We both got up and ran thinking of one of the old residents, but when we got to the hall and looked down, nobody was there. We walked further down the hall and there it was...the HUGE Salt Lake phone book, laying on the floor in front of the side door. I was horrified the rest of the night!! That is my creepy story, here are some other creepy things!

Day #9 is something I am proud of in the last few days. Well, i finally finished my cabinets. I think this has taken almost a year, which is sad. I don't have too many of them. I will admit though, my kitchen looks tons better with the red mahogany finish on the cabinets. They look amazing. It was my very first staining project ever, so I got better as I went along. I am so proud of them. I even did the wooden ledges on the window and opening to downstairs. The only thing left is the wood trim around the ceiling. That one is going to be hard because it is so high, but it will make it look even better. Then all I have left in the kitchen is new floor. EXCITING!!!!!
This is all the cabinets...and it took about a year. HAHA! As you can tell my house needs some cleaning.

Now the original color of my cabinets was the color of my floor, or lighter. It was horrible!!! It looks so much better now, and it matches my table and chairs now. I am so proud of this. Eric I'm sure thought it would never get done!
Day #8 is my short term goals for this month and why. Well, my first one and probably the biggest is to keep my house clean. Right now I am horrible at this because life is so busy right now. My house is suffering because of it too.
My 2nd short term goal would be to get through my assignments for school this month. I have so much to do this month, its stress full. A group assignment and interview paper for communications. I just finished my second paper for History, I have the biggest test so far in lab tonight and I have to go to a play dance or ballet for Humanities. All before the end of the month. I just want to get through this.

I know, I know I am horrible at this 30 days of blogging thing. I find it very hard to even remember to get on here every night or day. That being said I am determined to finish this no matter how long it takes me. So this is for day 7. A picture of someone/ something that inspires you. Well for me it is my kids. They are the ones that drive me and keep me going. They are my inspiration for actually wanting to finish school, and do well in my life.
