Christmas 2011

This Christmas was sort of exciting. The boys are older and understanding more about what Christmas is. Their faces were priceless! The only problem was they didn't go to bed until about 4 am. We had Eric's brother Bryan, and my brother Daniel over and played games til way late...or early. It would have been more fun for everybody had Eric not won every single game we played! It was nice to be together though. Fun times... So since the boys didn't go to be until 4 I had to wake up before them to put out their Santa things. That didn't work out so well, they woke up at 8:30! I had to have Eric barricade them in our room until I came back to get them. I could hear them crying...it was worth it though to see their smiles. They had a good haul this year...spoiled kids! (Please excuse the blurry pictures...my kids touched my lens and i can't get it clean, and they were moving a lot!)

This is how they all slept last night.

They are in their jamies from Xmas Eve

Mak actually opened his a few days prior to Christmas...Stinker!

Santa brought trucks...

A Tool bench...

and more trucks!

Dumping his stocking. After he was done with his, he took it into his hands to dump out Carson's.

I love this picture!! I don't know whether he was surprised or what!

Every time I asked Mak to smile he put a present in his face...

Now the drill...sorry it's blurry.

After our Christmas we went over to my mom's house and had more Christmas. Before we opened presents, we got the chance to talk to Ryan (my sister on a mission). It was really nice to talk to her. She sounded really good, and like she is doing great! Love you sis!!

The boys didn't last long.

In this picture Eric is holding Carson back so he didn't get into Nhala's presents

He didn't understand, poor guy.

Nhala liked the boys' monster trucks better than her stuff!
So as you can tell, we had a great Christmas. We had a brunch at Eric's mom's, and got to spend time with his family there. It was nice to have a relaxing day for once. Merry Christmas everybody!!!

HE DID IT!!

I just have to say, I am so proud of Eric. He took his GED test this past Tuesday and...HE PASSED!! He is now graduated! He has never really been motivated til now, but whatever it was that has motivated him...THANK YOU! I asked him how it feels and he said "I feel like I can do anything now".
I love you babe, and congratulations on your big achievement!

STILL ALIVE!

HELLO! I just wanted to make sure everybody knew we are still alive. This week is finals week, so I am trying to get everything squared away for me to do well on my finals. I had two today. I am not going to jinx it by saying much, but I am hoping i did well. Today was communications and Anatomy. I am not going to lie I am really nervous about the Anatomy final. It was a lot to have to study for one test...here's hoping! I have already been done with the lab portion for about two weeks. (I did really well and came out with 95% for the lab!) My humanities class didn't really have a final, it was just a project that I did pretty well on! My last final is on Wednesday...History. To be specific, Middle Eastern Civ. I have no idea what I was thinking this class was, but it was not that! It was Islamic History...don't get me wrong I am not racist by any means, but this is just not something I am interested in learning. It kind of bores me to tell you the truth. We learned about Islamic laws and Mecca. It was OK and kind of interesting, but not what I was expecting. Well, go me for picking a different class. Anyways, so this final consists of a three page paper that I need to bring to class. Then during the final time I have to do something with a map, and WRITE a three page essay on some part of the first three Crusades! Talk about a panic attack! I have no idea how this is going to be. I have never written a three page paper without revising it a million times. Well, I guess it is a good thing I have an A in that class...for now. So that is my story for the time being. I have to go study more and try not to wet my pants thinking about this! BYE!!

P.S. this is me in about 5 minutes!!!
