Christmas Lights

Sunday was my mom's birthday, and she wanted to go as a family to see the Christmas lights on Temple Square. It was really nice, there was not too many people there. Actually the grounds were quite empty. It was so nice not to have to fight people to walk on the sidewalk. I am always going in November!! He had some pictures taken, and of course the boys (meaning the big boys) were not cooperating! I think in every picture they are doing something that is not smiling! So not cool boys, you are old enough to smile!!

Little miss Nhala reminded me of the boy from A Christmas Story, she couldn't move her arms!!

I took out the ones that were horrible, and the only one of Eric smiling was blurry. GRRRRRR!! HAPPY 50th MOM!!!

Creativity

So usually I have none, but today I had it! I was creative. I know shocking, but my wreath turned out so good! I am so excited, nothing has ever turned out like this. Usually I start doing it and it looks bad, and I get discouraged and just stop all together, but not today!! Here I will show you...

Look look, see!!

It really makes my door look pretty! Here is a proud momma!!

So last night the boys took a bath. Carson doesn't like it so he gets out fast. Well, this time apparently he was NOT done! He asked to get out and sat on the potty, like he usually does, then i got him dressed. After I got him dressed he ran into his room to play, or so i thought. He came back out with a car and jumped back in the tub! He just needed a toy apparently...here are the pictures. I had Eric run the camera up to me really fast, rather than be mad. How can you get mad at this?

Seriously...how can you be mad?

Decorating!!

So I love decorating for Christmas, and I always do it the day after Thanksgiving. It is so nice to put them up, it makes the house look nice. This year however, I had no idea where to put my tree. Eric has a fish tank where my tree usually goes, so this year was harder. I decided to put it in front of the window. This makes it very tight walking, but that was the only place. This year Mak decided he was going to help me... It went good at first, then Carson decided he liked the balls and started throwing them everywhere. My tree will not look the same after the first hour, but we will try.

BIG HELPER!!

These last 2 are the finished project....

It turned out nice!

Pinterest!!

I have been obsessed with this website called Pinterest. It is very addicting, and very time consuming. You could loose hours on there! It is a cool site with cool ideas though. I have gotten a lot of ideas from it. My kids are very picky eaters, but one thing they do love is hot dogs. What kid doesn't like those? So i have been trying to find different things to do with them so my kids will eat something. Here is something i found on Pinterest...Spaghetti and hot dogs. It sounds weird, but it is actually pretty good...and easy to make!

So all you need are a package of hot dogs and some spaghetti noodles. Cut the hot dogs and slide the noodles through the pieces.

Add as many as you like, and when your done...

Cap the end with another piece of hot dog!

Make a good amount of then, and them stick them into boiling water, until noodles are done. Serve with spaghetti sauce.
It was so good, my kids enjoyed it a lot. Even my picky husband ate it. It was awesome...THANK YOU PINTEREST!!!

Catch up! Mak's 1st day of Pre School

So I have been slacking on my blogging duties...Mak started his first day of Pre School!! He was so cute! He wore his new clothes and was excited to ride the bus. I had to play it up so he was not nervous. He did great! He went right to the bus got on, and sat in his seat. It was almost natural for him! Thank You Lord for answering my prayers. I was so nervous that the bus would scare him and then it would ruin his whole first day. He did so great and was so cute. I am so so so proud of you Mak!!

CHARMING!!

This is his pose :)

Waiting for the bus to come..nice hawk!!

BUS 37!!!

Here he is coming home from school. He looks a little drowsy and awkward, only because he fell asleep on the bus ride home. His bus driver Ken, says that is normal when they are the last ones to be dropped off. He is so cute..

Here he is playing after school with his favorite birthday toy! He is now into batman...That's my boy!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAK!!!

Today is Mak's 3rd birthday! I can't believe this, it seems like only yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. So big already! We had just a little family party, and Mak had so much fun. I made something new. Instead of cake we had The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Brownie Bake. It is so yummy and was a huge hit tonight, and Eric's birthday!  Mak received some cool toys and clothes. His favorite toy is his Mack Truck loader. He can put the cars inside the trailer. He has had so much fun playing with it, but poor Carson is so upset that he can't play with it. He has screamed ever since it came out of the box. He just doesn't understand. It makes me sad...anyways, here are some pictures of the party. Eric was taking them, so I have no idea how they look...or what they are of!

OK so only one picture turned out. He said it was the camera, I'm not sure!!! Love you Eric! Anyways, you can see he got some nice things. Thank you to everybody who came and for all his birthday wishes! WOW 3!!!

HALLOWEEN 2011

I absolutely LOVE Halloween! So naturally it makes me mad when my children don't get as excited as I do. This year was better than last, i will admit that, but it was still so so so hard to  get the boys dressed and then get "happy" pictures of both of them. It took time, and i got so irritated i almost called of Halloween all together. How awful....I realized as well that i only have one picture of Carson, and it is the best picture of him. He looks so cute!! This year Mak went as a cowboy, he looked so cute! Carson was Spiderman, and they both were the cutest cowboy and Spiderman EVER!!
We went to the Downtown trick or treating, and it was bigger this year. We had new stores passing out candy and there was not as many people as last year....GREAT!!! We went with my sister-in-law and her family. They brought their new dog, Bella, with them and she was a princess. That was the only time Mak was happy was when he could hold Bella. THANK YOU!!! I will buy the kids a little dog if it means he is happy all the time! This was also the first year Eric actually had off, so it was a lot of fun for him to be able to come with us and see the boys in their costumes. Oh, I dressed up Zoey, she was a fairy. Here are some pictures, there aren't a lot, but very cute!

Cowboy Mak!

Cowboy Mak and Princess Bella

Aunt Anna---Flapper. She was really funny. She would go around and tell people she was a flapper, then she would twirl her dress.

Here is the only picture i had of Carson. I didn't even take it!!!
