Halloween 2012!

This year Mak asked for weeks when we were going trick-or-treating. He was so cute, actually they both were! I love the way they both said "Trick-or-Treat" at the doors. Ryan was able to walk around with the boys, Anna and I this year. We had lots of fun! They wouldn't hold still for too long so these are the pictures we could get!

Here we are carving our pumpkins. This year we didn't have time until Halloween day.

The boys helping for just a few minutes! P.S.-Carson has a knife in his hand.

Daniel and Kendra doing theirs.

My boys went as SWAT!!

Anna went as Pocohantas!

Miss Nhala came by while we were all out Trick-or-Treating.

Photography

This semester I have been taking a photography class, and I love it. I have learned so much. I thought I would share some of the photos I have taken.

The first 4 dealt with Different points of view for an object:

The next 4 deal with figure to ground relationships:

The next ones we were asked to pick a place and take pictures of that place. I chose the cemetary:

These last ones we were asked to pick an object...I chose a pencil, which was really hard!:

Sugar Cookies

My mom had the kids over to make sugar cookies, and we made most of the cookies the boys just ate the dough and got into a flour fight!

It started out inside, but...

Then they were asked to move it to the backyard!

Poor Carson looked the worst. He was covered. I think they dumped the whole bucket on his head.

Then Mak brought out the SUGAR!!!

The ZOO 2012!

A couple weekends ago we took the kids to the zoo. Jami brought Caleb and Cody, and my mom had Ryan, Anna and 2 other kids. It was a lot of people to keep track of, and if I remember right, we lost Mak and Caleb once! It was a lot of fun though. The only bad thing is the zoo is always under construction. Right now they are working on the African Savannah. Hopefully it wont take as long as the Rocky Shores exhibit took. The boys had fun though, that's all that counts.

Cody was entertaining Carson and Caleb by making paper airplanes!

Lunch Time

Sorry it's so glared.

Carson watching the elephants

Right as we were getting ready to move on the the next animal, a lady came out with 3 HUGE squash. The baby was fed last and it was so upset that she wasn't getting one!

She had to do some tricks first before she could get hers. I wish I had it on video, it was so cute.

They tried to coax the polar bear back out with lunch!

These guys were looking through the window, jealous that the polar bear got fish!

Little baby

Near the log there is a little baby

This is the only time I have ever seen the wolf. He was just sleeping on the ground.
